Q.What To Plant Under A Tree?

Zone 23464 | Faie added on August 27, 2020 | Answered

I just moved into a new house in Virginia Beach and there’s a tree in the front yard with a large tree ring around it, but nothing planted in it. I would like to plant some sort of perennial, evergreen ground cover there? It’s a very shady spot. What would you recommend?

This really depends on the type of tree that it is. Some trees will limit you more than others. Some will make it impossible to plant under.
