Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’m in Almeria. Palm trees died after being attacked by weevils. The tree died 2 years ago but has only been removed. Should I dig a couple of sacks of fresh compos into the earth and then leave to breath before planting anything. Or go ahead and plant a new shrub?

Adding compost will be a great way to help prepare the soil for planting. There are many other things that you can do, as well. Then go ahead and plant a new shrub. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/improving-garden-soil.htm [1]
