What To Plant…

Hello, Just bought a new home here in San Antonio, Zone 9a, and have a white picket fence (appx 3′ high) that comes off my deck. It is full sun all day from the morning through late evening with a little shade in late evening. Soil is typical of south Bexar county – clay/sandy. Irrigation would be via hose/sprinkler – no in-ground available I’d like to plant flowering bushes that would cover half or most of the fence. The length of the area is appx 19 feet. What would you recommend that is perennial and flowering that would meet my needs? thank you so much, Matt foulkes
