Q.What to Do With Wilted Calla Lily

Anonymous added on April 23, 2012 | Answered

How do I save my Calla lily? I brought it from the store in a pot about two weeks ago and the flowers are wilting. The foliage still looks green but flowers seem to be dying. What can I do to save it?

They have most likely reached their peak and are now done. Generally, potted calla lilies bloom 4-6 weeks, though there is no telling how long they were in bloom when you got them two weeks ago. Blooming may also be delayed or shortened if not receiving adequate lighting. Simply remove the spent blooms/flower stalks.
