Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe recently purchased my brother’s house and there is a Wisteria in the front lawn, away from the house. It is at least 30 years old, the main trunk seems to have split and the main branches are at ground level, supported by cement blocks. It blooms every year and we want to save it but don’t know what to do.

You either can leave it and do routine pruning each year or cut it severely back and start over. Here is how:
