Zone zone 4 | Judi Ekholm added on October 31, 2015 | Answered

What to do with the baby corms which form on the mother corm of the peacock orchid for overwintering in zone 4 – borderline coastal Maine? All have been dug, cleaned of soil and drying.

Leave the baby corms attached to the mother corms during storage and through planting.

When they are large enough in 2 to 3 years they can be divided.
