Q.What to Do With a Lilac Plant for the Winter

With the cold weather coming, should I bring in my lilac plant or how can I prepare it for the winter?

Unless it is newly planted, lilacs do not need any extra winter protection. However, if it's in a pot, we would recommend that you place it in a garage or another unheated sheltered area. It will need to be watered 1-2 times a month.
