Q.What Species Of Trees Are Susceptible To Granulated Ambrosia Beetles?

Zone Conroe, Texas | tanamblair added on March 16, 2020 | Answered

One of my two 6 year old peach trees has granulated ambrosia beetles and is dying. How can I protect the other tree? I have plum trees in the same area. Are they susceptible also? How should I destroy the diseased tree. It looks like it is dying. The blooms and baby peaches are all dead and the leaves are not coming.

Unfortunately, there is no cure once they are established. Almost all fruit and nut species are susceptible, and prevention will be the only method of control.
