What should the spacing of a mixture of different flowers that bloom at different times be? For example , if 12″ space is required for Flower A, can Flower B which requires the same spacing be placed in between Flowers A? Or should the spacing be 12″ for all , regardless of whether A or B?

If flowers A and B both need 12 inches of space between them, you can plant all with 12 inches between them. However, if A and B bloom at different times, it may be more pleasing to the eye to keep same variety of plants together, forming drifts.
