Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have mums that are very hardy and last through the winter. I live in North Texas and they are outside now in planters and are blooming, but the sun is too hot now and I don’t want to lose them. I want to put them in the ground but do not know where to plant them.

Prepare a location with full sun and well-drained soil by digging in a 2-inch layer of compost to a depth of about a foot. Garden mums will survive in partial shade, but they won’t bloom as well and tend to sprawl.
