the best seeds would be any veggies and most herbs. also, fruits like melons and certain berries. strawberries are to late to plant now, they already have been harvested of most varieties. the best fruit would be melons of any type because they are a warm season fruit. basically, anything can be planted know except strawberries. it’s not to late in the growing season. the latest time to plant will be mid to late june.
