Q.What Plants to Plant

Anonymous added on February 17, 2014 | Answered

What plants would work in Zone 5 along the sides of a creek that occasionally (2-5 times a year) has gushing water flowing for short time? At other times, the water level is probably only 6-10 inches deep. I’d like something more pleasing to the eye than weeds and thistles.

Consider Vinca minor or English ivy. They can take a wide range of conditions and abuse and still look nice.
