Q.What plant to use?

Zone Florence, Alabama 35630 | Anonymous added on April 29, 2020 | Answered

I have 4.5′ block wall in front of my house that faces a sidewalk and the well traveled neighborhood street. I want to cover the wall with some kind of cascading flowering plant. I am hardness zone seven. What to use?

Good cascading plants include sweet potato vines, which grow quickly and boast several different varieties; wave petunias, which come in many bold colors; begonia Bonfire series; and creeping Jenny.

If you want to plant from the bottom up, here are some suggestions: (I would caution against trumpet vine; it can be very invasive.)
