What plant in place of a juniper tree that has died?

Our old juniper tree about 10 ft High has sadly died. It is on a sloping site facing west and proved excellent all year screening into the garden from the public footpath that runs through our property. What can we plant in its place? We haven’t taken out the old tree as yet but it needs to come out soon

Also visit your local garden centers to see regional trees close up.
Call you County Extension Office for a list also!
