Q.What Perennials Can Be Planted As Seeds In Houston, TX In May?

Zone Houston, TX, Zone 9a | logansam01 added on April 28, 2020 | Answered

I’d like to grow some flowers from seeds (direct sow, rather than stating them indoors), and don’t know which to choose. I’m aware that he prime planting time has just about come to an end. I’m going to get an elevated garden bed and add soil myself, so I can choose the flowers I want, and add the best soil for them. What perennials can give me beautiful results in the late summer/fall (or sooner/longer) when planted in the next few weeks? Thank you
