Snails love wet, cool environments, they are attracted to tall growing grass and shrubs, wood debris, stones
and fleshy plants to eat. If you're growing a vegetable garden, be sure to do some companion planting that includes some potent herbs that snails dislike, like garlic, chives and marjoram. Here's some help:
