Q.What Kind Of Soil Will Suit Leucospermum Hybrid (Pincushion)?
It is my first time and want to success raise Leucospermum Hybrid (Pincushion Carnival Red) from Lowe’s in San Diego, CA. My understanding the plant is sensitive with certain soil to use. What I plan to transplant the plant in a ceramic pot. Garden worker recommended me to use the soil (see photos). I’m not too sure. I want to double check by you if the soil is ok or not. If not, what would you recommend the soil? Thank you for read this. (Not sure if photos will show up) it is Miracle Grow Performance Organics for all purpose container mix.)

No, that mix will not be suitable. The soil needs to contain little to no nutrients, and be quite acidic. Peat moss mixes work fine, amended with pine bark and other materials to make it acidic.
