Q.What Kind Of Oats To Plant For Cereal Like At The Market And Where To Buy It
I live in the willamette valley, oregon and also wondering for a friend in northern Idaho, what kind of seed to use to grown our own cereal. I understand we need to plant in the spring, at what temperature? Is it ever too soon? Then how many weeks to harvest, generally? And does it continue to grow like grass for animals to eat from? Where do we buy such grain? Naked oats are tough and don’t seem like good cereal. The animals I have don’t even like it much. Thank you.
