Q.What Kind of Flower

I saw a patch of flowers last summer on my way to the campground where we camp for the summer, but I don’t know what they are. I think they are perennial, but I might be mistaken – they stood about 5 feet tall – the blooms on them had to be a foot wide, in shades of pinks and reds. Beautiful, but I hope if I could send you a couple of pictures you might be able to tell me.
