What Is Wrong With My Hibiscus?

I have three hibiscus mini trees on my screened in porch in a sunny condition. I recently fertilized them all. While all three have many coming buds, one has lost many leaves. First they turned yellow and then dropped off. It would seem like new leaves are developing. I cannot detect any bugs, etc. What is wrong? How to I fix it? One of my trees was kept over winter and did well, so I am not sure if this is someting I did or the tree itself. HELP!!
