Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI successfully identified swallowtail chrysalises in my dill, but I have something else strange. They’re light brown in color and one has a black bead-like thing attached. Are they some kind of nests?

I have not found any thing that matches your description.
It is likely the casing from a moth or butterfly.
