Q.What Is This Green- Yellow Stem Growing On The Other Side Of My Tomato Pot?

Zone 02368 | Peppa_Salt added on August 26, 2020 | Answered

I have an early tomato plant and a hybrid tomato plant. They both seem to be doing pretty okay but I notice in one a long stem has started growing on other side of the pot and in the other little grass like popping out all around the pot. Should I cut them or should I let them continue to grow? It doesn’t seem to be hurting either plant but I’m not sure.

If a stem looks like it doesn't really belong I would cut it off, no use wasting resources. And any grassy looking growth is probably a weed. I would take those out, too.
