Bulb. Spring flowering, starts out like a lantern, opens to a star with maroon centre. Six petals, 3 inner, slightly overlap the outer, flower 35mm long, stem 220mm long.Leaf 300mm long, quite course, lightish green with brown streaks, flop over backwards.
