storing insecticidal soap base

What is the safe way to store the oil and soap base for insecticidal soap? I made the oil and soap mixture for making the insecticidal soap, but how can I safely store it, before adding water? I understand that once the water is added it must be used.

There are many ways to make insecticidal soap but I am going to assume you made the one using the recipe on our website (one cup of oil with a tablespoon of dishwashing liquid). If this is the case, you can simply store it in a large lidded glass jar in a cool place.
