What is the moldy lookin’ Cheeto growing on the stamen?

I believe this is a Bella Donna Lily
Photo taken September in Golden Gate Park.

Very curious as to what is growing on the stamen…. Looks gross….
Please let me know anything….

That is, in fact, the stamen! What you see all over it is pollen!
