Q.What Is The Best Way To Prune An Established Red Raspberry Bush That Has Never Bee Pruned? It Is 3 Year Old.
I have a three year old red raspberry bush that has never been pruned. I have read that the best time to prune them is after they have produced fruit. We’re way past that now …should I cut the whole bush back to the ground and start over in the spring and then follow instructions or will that kill the bush. Its getting very overgrown and did not produce good berries this year. Thanks for your help.
