Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWhat is the best type of shrub to plant in front of my house? Can you recommend a tall shrub to plant on either side of my garage (front of my house)? I live in Long Island (northeast) NYC suburb. Would like something evergreen, hardy, ornamental, no shedding of leaves, at least 5 feet tall and a shrub/tree that will grow in height and not width.
Thanks,
Marilyn

Assess the type of soil conditions and amount of sunlight to make a good choice for you foundation plantings.
