Can roses be propagated now in Oct/Nov in potatoes placed in soil? Would it have to be done inside? I’m in N TX

Since you are only about three weeks from your average first freeze, it is likely too late to start this outside. However, if you want to give it a whirl indoors in a large container, that should work. Here are instructions:
