Q.What Is Happening To My Hydrangeas???

It has been a hot summer. Mushrooms have grown in the lawn near this.

Unfortunately, your photo did not come through. I cannot assess the damage. Usually, conditions for mushrooms to grow are far too wet for plants to thrive happily, so I suspect overwatering.
