When you get blossoms but no fruit, or when blossoms drop, this is normally an indication of poor pollination. If there are not enough natural pollinators around or if the tree is grown indoors, it will have difficulty producing. This is why we sometimes have to intervene by hand pollinating. Simply take a small paint brush and swirl it around the inside of the flower and repeat on all flowers on the tree.

Also, sometimes when there a lot of blooms with a lot of pollen, you can just give the plant a vigirous shake. This shakes the pollen loose and it can settle on other blooms. It has worked with me before!
