Q.What is cutting, not eating, my morning glory flowers?

Zone Zone 6 East Coast Boston area | morningglory123 added on June 24, 2015 | Answered

I have a beautiful morning glory plant and something (animal or insect) is cutting the flower off stem but not eating it. I find (always happens at night) the flowers in the flower bed next to plant uneaten. Help!

Most likely slugs as they come at night and are not seen during the day.
