Q.What is the cause and, hopefully, the cure of yellow leaves and dying orange jasmine hedge?

Orange jasmine hedge is 10 years old, 6 ft high and located in south Florida. Part of the hedge is yellowing and dropping leaves. In a couple places the branches are becoming barren and brittle. These branches can be broken off easily and appear dead. What are the possible causes and cures for this?
