I would not advise the choice, as a whole. They won't ever grow to their potential in the spot.
While Dichondra might not be the go-to for deep shade, there are some cool alternatives. Hostas bring in a variety of leafy vibes, and Monkey Grass (aka Liriope) is a tough contender that can handle low light. If you're into delicate foliage, check out Bishop's Hat (Epimedium), or go for the evergreen charm of Periwinkle (Vinca Minor). Bugleweed (Ajuga) is also on the list, forming a neat carpet with its cool spikes of flowers. Just make sure to study and evaluate out how much shade your spot gets and consider giving the soil some TLC for these shade-loving champs.
