Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a garden that part gets a ton of sun. We have tomatoes and zucchini there now and the zucchini looks like it’s getting sunscald or whatever it’s called. The tomatoes just get too many bugs, so we’ve moved most of them to Topsy Turvys and that seems to be working. But I have this big open space and don’t know what to do with it.

Pretty much all vegetables need and thrive in full sun. However, if it’s prone to getting too hot (like in the afternoon), we recommend shading the area with a translucent cloth cover. It will help shade out the area, keeping it cool, while protecting the plants from receiving sunscald.
