what happens if i put fertilizer on seeded grass?

I accidentally sprinkled fertilizer on new seeded grass– did I just kill it? If I did, how can I fix it?

Not necessarily. It may burn some of the new grass, and it may take a little longer to come up, but it can still fill out in time. You may reseed if you need to, once the grass starts to grow in.
