Q.What Happened To My Japanese Maple?
Just found that all the leaves of my japanese maple (Acer P. Atropurpureum) have dried out. Last month (march) it was infested with aphids, but I was able to get rid of them with a couple of dishsoap aplications. The tree seemed to be recovering. But now, it’s in worse shape. What may had cause this? Watering problem? Strong winds? Once again, thanks.

This is, likely, residual effects from the aphid damage. There is a chance that it can be, true, overwatering since this is common for an overwatered tree, but aphids can cause severe damage like this.
It is, always, a good idea to treat with a fungicide to prevent damage from pathogens carried by insects after an infestation.
