Q.What does it mean when the leaves on my Chinese lantern tree (flame tree) turn yellow?
I’m getting conflicting information about how much to water and what/when to fertilize . My tree is looking wimpy and the leaves are wrinkled.
Please help!!! I love this tree but I think I’m killing it.

It could be Verticillium wilt, which attacks this tree. There are no known chemical controls. Fertilizer may give it a boost.
It should be planted in full sun in well draining soil and receive moderate water. However, it is highly drought tolerant once established.
