Q.What do I do with the hanging strawberry basket i just purchased?

Zone Northern Colorado | brenridge added on April 22, 2012 | Answered

I just purchased a hanging strawberry basket and live in northern Colorado. It already has some strawberries. I don’t know which of the three varieties it is, it’s marked “Strawberry HB”. Should I replant it immediately (it is already late April) or should I keep it in the container is is planted in this summer? It is planted in a wide shallow 1. 3 gallon sturdy decompose able hanging pot. Thank you!

You can replant them in the ground or leaves them in the container. Either way the strawberries will grow fine. Here is more information on growing strawberry plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/strawberry/growing-strawberry-plants.htm
