What do I do over winter with Dahlia bulbs??

What month can I replant them in 2018?

Start them off in moist, but not wet, compost in a greenhouse or indoors and plant out when the danger of frost is passed. I put mine out (Midlands UK) in mid / end May. If the compost is too wet the tubers will simply rot
