Q.Leland pear tree losing its foliage

Zone I live in Beaumont, Texas which is in the south eastern part of the state. | Lguyote added on May 26, 2015 | Answered

What could be the cause of my Leland pear tree losing its foliage? My other three pear trees look great. This one has sparse foliage. It was the first to lose its leaves and the last to begin leafing out. However, it appears to be really struggling.

A tree that is showing signs of struggling most likely is being effected by environmental conditions. This can make it vulnerable to insects and disease.
