Q.What could be happening to these trees?

Zone Donegal | Anonymous added on July 26, 2020 | Answered

These trees are about 15-20 years old. I don’t know what they are called but some seem to be dying. What could be wrong with them ?

Your arborvitae shrubs look desiccated. Was there a particularly cold, windy and dry winter or hot, dry summer? Even established arborvitae need irrigation during dry spells. I don't see bagworms in the photos, but look up close for those.
