Q.What Causes The Leaves Of My Flowers To Be Whitish And Speckled?

The leaves of my potted flowers are often nice and green when I first transplant them, then soon they become whitish and speckled. What causes that and what can I do so it doesn’t happen?

That appears to be spider mite damage. This is difficult to get rid of, but with persistence, or predatory insects (this is my preferred method) they can be gotten rid of. These articles will help you with the pesky creatures:
