My plant’s leaves turn yellowish and continue to look shabby. Is it possible that snails are causing the problem?

Snails chomp. They physically eat parts of the leaves. Yellowing can be caused by many things, and here is an article to help you start to think about your plant, and figure out what might be causing the yellow leaves. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/plant-leaves-turn-yellow.htm
