Q.What can you grow in a high exposed garden?

Zone Cornwall | Anonymous added on May 24, 2020 | Answered

I’m considering taking on a plot in the southwest, altitude 220 m, south facing, quite exposed. Currently a blank sheet. Is it possible to make a garden? I would like to plant trees, fruit and veg, but also cottage garden plants. Local land is used for pasture. Thanks.

Determining your garden areas Microclimate is the first step in this process.

Soil testing is another important step.

Also, check with your local garden centers for regional advice and plants.
