Q.What can Jahvya & I do with the new growth in an ornamental pineapple plant pot? The pot it came in seems crowded now

Zone Bristol, UK | Jahvyasgarden added on May 2, 2019 | Answered

The roots are peeking out the bottom of the pot. The plant itself has some yellowing tips on the longest leaves. I read on here that repotting can be tough on plants, plus what soil shall I purchase to repot?

A mature potted pineapple plant will be several feet across and tall, and a mature plant will need a five-gallon planting container. It will take at least a year of growing to get a plant to this size. You can put the pot outdoors during the summer, but you need to bring the pineapple plant inside before the first frost of fall.
Follow the potting and care information in the link below.

Oh no! Your pine apple, plant need your help, the first think you must know is that you cant grow a plane apple plant on a pot for a long time, anyhow you did it,but don't worry I will help you:now you get a big pot which will be more then double of the present pot, now you put soil on the pot, keep space for the present pot ,because you have to fix it on the bigger one. Yes!that's the way by which you can safe your pine apple plant. Break the pot but not in pieces , there should be little cracks only, break in such a way that you can take out the pieces of the pot after fixing it on new(bigger pot)if you can take out all the pieces ,then also it's not a problem ,the roots will find their way. Now you water the plants after fixing it on new pot.
And like this you can really help your pine apple plant to grow again...
