Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI timed them for my wedding but they are not blooming and I need them by August 17th. Is there anything to do or put on gladiolus to push them to bloom? We timed them last year and planted them accordingly but they aren’t even budding yet and I need them 2 weeks from today for a wedding.

You could try adding a “bloom booster” fertilizer, which has a higher phosphorus content, or add bone meal to the soil around them to help encourage blooming. (though to be on the safe side, as there is no guarantee when it comes to exact timing, I would suggest having a backup order of glads ready to go just in case)
