Q.What Can I Plant In A Summer Shady And Winter Sun Area?
In the summer the area (back side of houses) faces south and gets dappled sun for about 5 hours a day. The remainder of the time it is complete shade. In the winter that area gets direct sun for about the same amount of time. This is due to a neighbors deciduous tree and the fence and houses creating shade. I am unsure what plants will grow in both of those environments.
