Q.What Can I Do With A Severely Grasshopper Damaged Dwarf Holly Bush?

It was largely stripped of its leaves. There’s has been some new growth after we started to get ahead of the grasshoppers. We literally had hundreds and hundreds. They stripped completely my lilac bushes and my bridal wreath bushes. I don’t know if they can be saved as there has been no new growth. Plus decimating my lilies, cannas, irises, Hostas and one of my boxwoods. Plus some damage to oaks and maples! Please help me save the holly!

Your plants were hit hard! Most plants will recover on their own unless damage is too extensive. It's a good sign that new growth is returning on the holly bush. Continue to water and fertilize as recommended for the plants. These articles should help:
