Q.What can i do to revive my Jade Plant

jesswarg added on April 27, 2014 | Answered

The leaves on my Jade plant are shriveling, turning yellow, and falling off. There is new growth that looks healthy, but the lower leaves are falling off. I replanted it about a month ago. Is this normal, or is my Jade going to die?

It sounds like you're having some watering problems. Two likely scenarios with newly repotted plants are 1)new pot too big, soil staying too wet; or 2)roots not moving into new soil, not getting enough water if you water around the edges only. This article will tell you about the needs of jade plants: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/jade-plant/limp-jade-plant-help.htm.
From here you'll have to do some investigation to find out the problem. Most important is soil moisture. Use a bamboo kebob skewer or small wooden dowel to test moisture as if you were testing a cake. The soil should be only slightly damp in the bottom of the pot before you add more water.
