What Are These Bulbs?

Question

I planted the original bulbs years ago, but just dug them up. I wish to re-plant them – but don’t know how deep, when is best time, etc. etc. Thank you.

It's a daylily and you can replant it now. It can be planted deep enough to just cover the crown, the part where the green begins. Here is more:
